Cryptonara.io is a registered provider of virtual currency services under the supervision of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego), with registration number RDWW-1722. As an obliged institution under Directive (EU) 2015/849 and its amendments, cryptonara.io is subject to legal obligations concerning anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF). This disclosure outlines the key compliance measures in place and the obligations applicable to users of the platform.

Customer Identification and Verification

Before accessing cryptonara.io’s services, all customers are required to undergo Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. This process includes the collection and verification of identification documents, residential address, and other relevant information necessary to verify the customer’s identity and assess the source of funds. Customers may be asked to submit supporting documentation during onboarding or at any time during the course of the business relationship. Failure to provide the required information may result in delays, restrictions, or refusal of service.

Risk-Based Approach

Cryptonara.io adopts a risk-based approach to AML compliance, meaning that customers are subject to differing levels of due diligence depending on the level of risk they present. Factors such as geographical location, transaction behaviour, and customer profile are considered when determining the appropriate level of scrutiny. In cases where a customer is determined to present higher risk, enhanced due diligence procedures will apply, which may involve additional verification steps and increased monitoring.

Ongoing Monitoring

Customer activity on the platform is monitored on an ongoing basis to detect suspicious behaviour or transactions that are inconsistent with the expected profile. Transactions may be reviewed for frequency, volume, structure, and geographical destination or origin. Activity involving sanctioned jurisdictions, high-risk areas, or politically exposed persons is subject to additional scrutiny. Where necessary, cryptonara.io may temporarily restrict access to an account while an internal review is conducted.

Sanctions Compliance

Cryptonara.io conducts regular screening of customers and transactions against international sanctions lists and complies with applicable sanctions regimes. The platform may block or terminate access to services where a customer is found to be in breach of applicable sanctions laws. Where required, Cryptonara.io will notify the appropriate regulatory or enforcement authorities.

Data Retention and Reporting

In accordance with applicable law, cryptonara.io retains identity verification records, transaction data, and communication history for the legally mandated retention period following the termination of the customer relationship. Where suspicious activity is identified, Cryptonara.io is required to report such activity to the relevant Financial Intelligence Unit or regulatory authority. Customers will not be notified when such reports are filed.

KYC Questionnaire

All customers are required to complete a KYC questionnaire during onboarding or as part of periodic account review. The questionnaire collects information on the customer’s intended use of the platform, expected transaction patterns, and financial background. Completion of the questionnaire is mandatory. Customers who fail to submit the requested information within the timeframe provided may have their access to the platform restricted or suspended.

User Acknowledgement

By using the cryptonara.io platform, users acknowledge and accept that they are subject to AML and KYC requirements. Users are expected to provide accurate and complete information and to respond promptly to any requests for additional documentation. Cryptonara.io reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform where a customer fails to comply with these requirements or where the company determines that the associated risk is too high.
